ABOUT ROB

Rob Walker teaches lighthearted, fun classes with a strong emphasis on alignment and proven benefits.

He had a successful career in journalism in London and Canada before turning a passion for yoga into teaching 25 years ago.

Since 2001 he has owned two yoga studios, taught more than 500 yoga teachers and studied three times in India with BKS Iyengar, the greatest yoga teacher of all time. Over this period he watched an obsession with flexibility lead to an unnecessary rise in injuries.

Rob’s current focus and interest is in a more functionally useful, evidence-based class, focussing on the nine other benefits of yoga, detailed in his game-changing book, The New Yoga: From Cult and Dogma To Science and Sanity.
